Here' s an interesting article about libraries using Drupal for their catalogs and mentions SOPAC as a popular option, which is what SAILS is going with.

SAILS received an LSTA federal grant to fund our new online catalog. We would like this catalog to have features requested by you, the library patrons. This blog will show you all the process we are going through and hopefully open a dialog between SAILS and our community so we can all have a say in what comes next.
